Mentoring Undergraduate Researchers

Working closely with other researchers gives you experience in teamwork, leadership, teaching and mentoring that will be invaluable as you move towards a career in the professoriate. CMB Teaching Fellows are encouraged to mentor at least one undergraduate (or high school) research project. Your PI, or the Director of Undergraduate Education in your home department can help you identify an undergraduate interested in your area of research, or you can cast a wider net through the links below. To get credit for your mentoring you can enroll in CM784 Supervised College Teaching
