Program Policies and Procedures

The CMB program annually publishes a booklet which contains the program’s policies and procedures for graduate students.

This document should be read in conjunction with the current Graduate and Professional Bulletin of Colorado State University. It has been written to emphasize certain policies contained in the Bulletin and to outline policies and procedures specific to the CMB Graduate Program. Much of the information given in the Policies and Procedures Manual is available on the CMB website:

Admission and Foreign Student Applications

Selection of Advisor and Graduate Committee

Laboratory Rotations for First Year Students

Direct Recruitment into Laboratories

Standards of Performance

Graduate Assistantships

Graduation Requirements

Examinations and Publication Requirements

Student Appeals of  Grading Decisions
